A quality engineering startup built on how releases really fail.

QualityFirstQA is an AI-native quality engineering company. We build automation our clients own outright, and we stand behind the evidence that says a release is ready.

Why we started

Most teams don’t lack tests. They lack tests they can trust. Suites break every sprint, regression takes longer than the release window allows, and go/no-go decisions end up resting on opinions in a meeting.

AI changes what’s possible: tests that write themselves from requirements, heal when screens change, and explain their own failures. But AI alone doesn’t make a release safe. QualityFirstQA was started to combine the two: modern AI-driven automation, built on the discipline of people who have been accountable for real go-lives.

What we believe

An assertion is sacred

Automation may heal how it finds an element. It must never change what counts as correct. A test that passes by quietly lowering the bar is worse than no test.

Clients own everything

Open-source code in your repository, running in your pipeline. Our job is to make you independent of us, not dependent on us.

Evidence beats opinion

Every go/no-go should rest on traceable results that anyone can review, not on who argued hardest in the meeting.

AI drafts, you decide the loop

AI should do the heavy lifting. How much human review sits around it is a choice each team makes deliberately, and every decision stays auditable.

Leadership

Avneet Dhanoa

Founder

Avneet founded QualityFirstQA after 15 years of taking banking, semiconductor, technology, and enterprise SaaS programs from build to go-live. The person who scopes your engagement is the person who builds it.

  • Took a digital bank from build to launch, running the 20-person QA and release organization behind it
  • Built a Playwright framework from an empty repository to coverage of more than 100 applications
  • Makes the release go/no-go call for a global line of business, with business analysts and test teams across the Americas, Europe, Japan, Greater China, and ANZ
  • Traced nCino loan applications and FSC wealth flows from the screen down to the SOQL query, including pricing engines where the price is derived from the inputs

How we handle your access and data

The questions a security reviewer asks, answered before they ask.

  • Your code stays yours. We work inside your repositories, environments, and pipelines. Nothing is copied to our own infrastructure.
  • Least access, for as long as it’s needed. We ask only for the permissions the work requires, and access ends at handover with a written offboarding record.
  • No secrets in test code. Credentials live in your vault and are read at run time, so nothing sensitive sits in a repository or a pipeline log.
  • Masked or synthetic test data. Real customer records stay where they are. We build test data that exercises the same rules without carrying anyone’s personal information.
  • AI on your terms. AI assists authoring and analysis using models and accounts you approve, under your policy. Your code and data are never used to train a model, and we can run engagements with AI assistance switched off entirely.
  • Traceable by default. Every generated test, healed locator, and quality gate decision is logged and reviewable, which is what auditors ask for later.
  • NDA as standard. We sign yours, and we can work under your MSA and security requirements.

How we work

Senior-led

Every engagement is scoped, built, and handed over by a senior quality architect. Nothing gets passed to a junior bench after the sale.

Fixed scope, clear ends

Engagements start with an agreed scope and end date, so you always know what you’re getting and when.

Built to hand over

Documentation, training, and pairing are part of every build, so the knowledge stays with your team.

Let’s talk about your releases.
